The Shoe Plate supports and distributes the weight of the Osprey system over six square feet. The distributed weight is equivalent to lessthen200lbs/sq.ft.
Earth anchors are driven into the ground through the anchor openings and provide the additional hold down capacity to meet or exceed minimum code requirements.
